
Except that this isn't a duck, as many, many, many commenters in a popular Reddit thread just pointed out. It's a goose. In fact, it's probably a bar-headed goose. The quibbling Redditors also proposed a lot of theories about why the duck dances, everything from Pavlovian conditioning to natural foraging behavior. My favorite explanation: it's used to paddling away after grabbing food, so the dance is just a form of land-paddling.
Duck, duck, goose ... whatever this bird is, it can sure as heck dance. I would be shocked if we don't see some duck remixes popping up very, very soon.
