We love Improv Everywhere, but we didn't know how the wily troupe of pranksters would follow up their Ghostbusters stunt at the New York Public Library. Well, now we know: they painted tourist lanes on New York sidewalks. New York is famous for the high tension between locals and tourists, so what happens when the sidewalk becomes segregated?

Well, you can see the results in the video, but suffice it to say there were some pretty interesting responses. Highlights include a tourist insisting that he's a fast walker and the Improv Everywhere crew dressed in orange vests relegating him to the tourist lane anyway. They also set up a "Department of Transportation employee" to poll people about the new tourist lane and (maybe not surprisingly) people loved it.
