In honor of his newly released book, Batting Stance Guy: A Love Letter to Baseball and the upcoming Father's Day celebration (Reminder: June 20! Wouldn't that book be a nice gift?), Ryness set out to show off the batting stances behind the 10 Best Major League Baseball Players and Their Baseball Player Kids, exclusively for Urlesque readers. Also, we have four copies of the book to give away to lucky readers. See how to enter after the video.

The batting stance guy is a pioneer for completely useless, yet awesome, skills.
And I'm an A's fan all the way.

My all-time fav "batting stance" by BSG is probably Gary Sheffield, but that's a personal preference.
I root for the Mets, so that should automatically give me a heads up in winning the book. I've been through enough already.

It has to be the Mariners. Growing up in Seattle, they were like your drunk uncle who you couldn't help but love, no matter how many times they shit the bed.

I know I'll get a lot of hatred but I've been a Dodger fan since birth - GO BIG BLUE WRECKING CREW!!!!! By the way; my favorite player is Casey Blake (I know; but I like the underdog) and your imitations of The Beard are priceless!
