In Rosenthaler Platz, a busy intersection in Berlin, cyclists poured 13 gallons of paint into the road to see what pretty colors were made from traffic. Dumped in large sections of puddles throughout the intersection, car wheels were splattered with an array of vivid hues (all of which, motorists were told, were simply removable with water).
Sometimes, all a traffic jam needs is a little bit of paint to show how beautiful it is to get from one place to another on wheels alone. Even in Berlin, who needs bikes, right?
