Duct tape has so many uses that the phrase "duct tape can fix anything" has become a common figure of speech. It doesn't always look pretty, but the sticky stuff is super durable, making it a reliable quick fix that will last for as long as possible.

Actually I really did think about saying something about the children but I honestly couldn't tell if it was real or not. And I'm not sorry if I adore my furry friends, humans can choose whether to hurt themselves by putting that shit on their feet and faces, kids and cats cannot.

Actually, the picture of the cat is extremely upsetting, and even offensive. I think we're all aware of the mental health implications of a human abusing an animal. Regardless of how you feel about animals, animal abuse is not something to be taken lightly. Luckily, the cat in this image was okay (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/6241331/Duct-tape-cat-US-teen-arrested-on-animal-cruelty-charges.html).

tl;dr: you guys are dicks.

Child abuse is also not to be taken lightly, but where the cat was put in a trash bag and dumped in a yard after being immobilized, no duct tape is touching the kids skin. And one can assume that she was not left unattended. I know at least 5 classrooms full of 3-7 year olds who would love to be duct taped to a wall, and think it was hilarious. No harm was intended toward this kid; the cat is a different story.

That duct tape hammock chair and the duct tape care crane are both bs. Duct tape alone would never support the weight. Obviously the chair has chains holding it and they just wound duct tape around them, and I didn't even look closely at the car crane one.

To those complaining that the other poster outrages about the cat and not the kids: The kids are clearly secured by their clothing, and will NOT suffer harm to their skin when the tape is removed.

Is it good parenting? No. Will the child suffer because of it? Probably no as well.

The cat, on the other hand, has the tape ON ITS FUR. Try pasting duct tape all over your hair and removing it afterwards. Oh no, no, because you're a human and you deserve so much better, and the cat is just a plastic toy. Whine whine whine.

It also makes a great emergency splint for a fractured or broken toe or finger when you don't have anything else. Hurts like hell to get it off, but it does the job. I know from experience.
