owl slow motionIt's a bird, it's a plane...actually it's just a bird. I don't know why I would have thought it was a plane. Probably just wishful thinking on my part: These things look like they can actually move around and stretch their legs during flight. The in-flight meals on the other hand, they're a bit of a crap shoot. One day it's sushi fresh from the ocean, the next it's sunflower seeds and worms.

All kidding aside, these slow motion bird videos are pretty mesmerizing. They offer a rare glimpse at the mechanics and inner workings of flight. Plus, as any bird watcher will tell you, birds are neat to look at.
