WATCH: Bein' Quirky With Zooey
The recent influx of minimalist posters has been awesome. It started with one person using their love of Quentin Tarantino movies and incredible artistic talent to create a series of fan art in the form of minimalist posters for each film. The concept snowballed from there. Soon after, artists from all over were coming out of the internet woodwork to express appreciation for movies, television shows, superheroes and even celebrities with these types of posters.
Not only that, but the results were so awesome that some of the posters are sold for amounts ranging from under a hundred to over a couple hundred dollars. Personally, we would love to have a lot of these up on our walls. These are really great! Posters in this style are getting so popular.
I saw this flickr set on flickrdesign the other day of Beatles redesigned covers in minimalist style.
I think they are probably better than some of the ones posted here.
