lady gaga fire Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' video is the most popular music video on YouTube. No wonder Christina Aguilera wants to rip it off.

Xtina's new video for 'Not Myself Tonight,' a hypersexualized ode to reckless debauchery, bears striking similarity to several Lady Gaga videos, most notably the wildly successful 'Bad Romance.'

It's tough to blame her. She's old hat. She's been doing this for over a decade and she's, like, a mom now? Who could blame her for biting a few good ideas and claiming homage?

But then there's the straight up plagiarism. She denies this, of course, telling MTV "that in particular is not even worth wasting the breath to comment on. I've been around for more than a decade and I think my work speaks for itself."

Gross, mom. Read on to see the shameless mimicry for yourself.

It's not just the visuals. Even Xtina's new electro sound, complete with lite S&M and chopped and screwed vocals, sounds just like Lady Gaga. Where Lady Gaga's shocking imagery comes off as fresh and a little scary, Christina Aguilera's new look just seems icky and posed in comparison.

Ok first off Christina has been around 10x longer then Gaga, so if anyone is ripping ppl off on music videos its gaga. Christina kissed Madonna and Britney at the VMA's. Beyonce was the first to wear the pointy boots. 1-800 product is because that company helped with the video along with Branded Bottles. Burn it to the Ground is just common in tons of videos. No Pants With Tall Boots Christina had in the video Fighter or Dirty. Wordy Rings everyone has and along with Generic Bacchanalia. Ouch, Sharp Glasses gaga's arent even sharp. lastly Look Into My Eyes, Christina's is for her name....people need to get over gaga she has only been around for a year and ppl are claiming she is the best but really she is the one who is stealing shit from others! actually, wrong! Why does everyone think gaga can't sing? She doesn't really show it off though. Look for her singing speechless at the VEVO launch on youtube. I think she's actually better. But either way, no matter who came first, this video is such a blatant rip off and let's be honest, a bit shit. I mean the lingering camera shot on the perfume? Product placement is supposed to be at least vaguely subtle. I do like Christina too, but this just makes me respect her so much less.

'Not Myself Tonight' is not an exercise in Christina ripping off Lady Gaga but a riposte to the fact that Lady Gaga has made a name for herself ripping off what Christina Aguilera was doing - and doing better - ten years ago. If anything, this video proves that Gaga is the talentless pretender and Christina Aguilera the reigning queen of cool.

anyway, yeah xtina's been around for centuries, but she's been around doing...what, exactly? having sex, rolling around in mud, and being generally just a whorish version of britney spears. then came lady gaga, and if you paid just a pinch of attention to her professed and effortlessly proven intentions, you'd notice she's done something different to music. i won't launch into an essay about what that is, exactly, but my point is that to say xtina's already been revolutionizing music/fashion/art for years is to say that she's actually made a difference on the world, and she really hasn't. also, if her work "speaks for itself" why did she wear lady gaga's last year's outfit to her own concert, last month?

Hype didn't direct the Gaga video, but newsflash, @xtina fan, when artists want to rip off a look they go direct to the source. Look up "D.A.N.C.E" and then Kayne's video for "Champion." Look similar? Then look up quotes by Kanye that say he hired the same french team because he was jealous that Justice beat him out for video of the year the year before. It's standard practice. So even IF that was the case, you would only be discrediting yourself even further than you have by taking the name "xtina fan"

Xtina has been doing "this" for 10 years, yes, and when I say "this," I mean trying to figure out what image shes going with to suit the current times, whether that's teen princess (when britney was doing school girl), dirty whore (when Britney was being a slave 4 U), classy soul singer (Alicia Keys), or bitin on Gaga's shit, probably the worst form of career mimicking, like hitching your wagon to a dying star.

Please note that I say this wholeheartedly as a Gaga hater. I am in neither camp. But even I, as a lover of "Ain't No Other Man" (don't tell anyone) can't get past the horrible sins of blatant carbon copying going on here.

Yo, Xtina fans, go find someone relevant to support in online forums. Also, find some better music.

Are people forgetting that christina aguilera has been around forever? Her vidoes have pushed the limits on many occasions. And for her dancing with a group a people in the middle of her dances.. she has been doing that since her teeny bopper days. She hasn't been around since of the birth of her son so people have forgotten what she is capable of and what she has done in her past. I'm sure Lady gaga was listening and wathcing christina aguileras videos, along with everyone else ten plus years ago. I used to be a huge Xtina fan...until she stopped continuously making music. "Stripped" will always be one of my all-time favorite albums but I have to say Lady Gaga came in and took over. She hasn't stopped yet. Christina's been "around" for ten years but...what does "around mean"? Does it mean we knew she existed for 10 years? The pleather mask is to copy those leather masks worn during hardcore sex everybody lady gaga was wearing it cuz of chess pieces. The ballet boots are worn by a lot of stars People only care cuz lady gaga did it and christina aguilera resembles her and did it also. If you forget rihanna did it in UMBRELLA befor lady gaga ok. When Christinas dancing with the whipp its from fighter when she has a man bundled up with a wwhip also ppl!. THEN if somones bisexual it means there copying lady gaga really grow up! I think people need to realize that the music videos are directed by other creative individuals, and not created by the musicians. Yes, the singers can have a lot of input, and after all, they are acting out the scenes, but the end result is the product of an entire team of professionals creating what the director intended. If anyone should be blamed for the blatant similarity in these videos, and the terrible step backwards for Christina, it would be the person who directed the video. Christina had gotten herself out of the mud pit and become so classy, and now she's kissing girls and making soft porn music videos again. I'm incredibly disappointed in Christina, she's a wife and mother now, the public doesn't expect nor want her to be rolling around in a bed with an anonymous hot guy, moaning sex sounds anymore. We're over it. People like Lady Gaga can fulfill those roles and Christina should stay classy.

Wow I didn't realize Christina had ripped off Lady Gaga in some of her other videos. My question to Christina is when has decided to become bisexual all of a sudden? Come on, really? Also some of the things this person post up as the rip-offs do not make sense. The ball-pointe heels Christina wears in the video are not similar to Lady Gaga's weirdass curvedown heels; Christina is actually copying Beyonce, who wore those same exact black ball-pointe heels in her music video for "Green Light". The bed & fire scene, Christina is totally ripping on Lady Gaga most definitely! I saw that section & I just thought of how much of a coincidence that it is like "Bad Romance". One thing that should have been posted is Christina rips Lady Gaga for the scene with Lady Gaga coming out of the handicapped limo in her video for "Paparazzi" wear Christina totally copies her outfit. Christina you totally know you ripped on Lady Gaga. I know artists are always trying new things, but Christina is ripping on Lady Gaga; there is never all-of-a-sudden look alikes, which are actually rip-offs. I love Lady Gaga for coming out as someone different and someone who admits to being inspired by others and yes, I am a fan of hers. On the other hand, I have lost respect for Christina.
