Science fairs are a blast for everyone involved. Kids get to expand an experiment into a whole project, creating a poster board and as many visuals or hands-on aspects to meet full "look at me!" potential.
Parents stroll around and participate in a subtle parent judge-off -- who has the best kid? Which parent has the best experiment? Yes, we remember the days when our moms and dads became so overzealous that they would create the whole darn things for us.

photos and parodied them. The results were tampered titles detailing
creepy, inappropriate experiments. However, some of them look so good that they could easily be confused for real reasons to call child protective services.
Photo Basement also took a great crack at a group of real, but still hilarious, science fair projects. Here are 30 awesome and hilarious science fair projects compiled from these sites and more.
