What's happening on the web is increasingly starting to mean what's happening on Facebook. We're a little bit obsessed with our own Facebook page, of course, but it doesn't stop there. Now that Facebook is taking over other sites with its famous like button, you have to keep track of what your friends like on YouTube, on Pandora, on CNN ... where does the madness stop?
Actually, it stops at a new site called Like Button. Like Button is a handy heads-up display of the most popular stories -- based on Facebook likes -- on a bunch of different important sites. Plus, it shows what your friends like on each site. Like Button basically turns you into the Geordi LaForge of Facebook, just chilling on the bridge of the Enterprise, getting readouts about dang near everything. Or, to put it in a way that doesn't reference Star Trek, Like Button is really, really cool.
