halo 2When game makers no longer choose to support a game's servers, the game's multiplayer function dies. XBox Live has hosted Halo 2 games for about six years now. Having been almost completely eclipsed in popularity by Halo 3, the second installment in the Halo franchise boasts a meager 40 players as of 3:00pm.

Game developer Bungie announced that April 14th would be the last day that players would be able to enjoy the online multiplayer component of the game. But, somehow, at least a few servers are still live. Check out a Reddit thread and watch the live feed documenting the dying gasps of one of the biggest games ever.
