Earthquake InterruptionThe Easter earthquake in Mexicali shook my family's Easter celebration and almost cost me a donut, but it could have been worse -- I could have been on camera trying to catch quarters. Thanks be to YouTube, because lots of other earthquakees have been caught off guard and on video.

  • During this same April 4, 2010 tremor, Henry Winkler admitted to Kevin Pollak and the crew of his Chat Show what would happen if the shaking didn't stop.



  • The KABC weather girl makes it smoothly through thirty seconds of seismic fun, but when we cut to the studio the male anchor admits to having hidden under the desk. His cohost tries to cover for him, but his shame's already revealed.



  • Finally, we have justice: an earthquake punished both plaintiff and defendant -- and everyone else present -- on this episode of Judge Judy. The first camera operator is a lot more relaxed than the second and the girl (girlfriend, I presume?) is the only one who doesn't freak out.



Whatever video you're trying to make, it's probably funnier with an earthquake cameo.
