Peep haiku makes perfect sense to those those of us who don't celebrate Easter (hi, me!). See, the holiday brings with it such good cheer that we almost like it better than that other ho-ho-holiday from which we feel ashamedly excommunicated. Look, candy canes and eggnog go a long way, but when it comes to springtime, we want our sweets bright and sparkly and marshmallow-y.
And that's why there are probably rabbis who, like us, sneakily parade the aisles of various drug stores, filling our baskets to the tippy-top with Peeps. Furthermore, that's why there's an entire website devoted entirely to haikus written about the only-too-seasonal candy.
Here are some of our favorite poems:

Not dumb! Peeps are marshmallow Easter candy shaped like chicks and bunnies and seem to be everywhere during the season. http://www.marshmallowpeeps.com/
They have a cult following online so we're saluting them all week on the site.
