Is your city's internet connection sluggish? Is your service intermittent? Would you go so far as to say that it's irregular? If so, Google may have just the thing for you: Google Fiber. Google Fiber will provide bandwidth speeds up to 1 gigabit per second. That's 100x faster than a typical American internet connection.

But who gets to use Google Fiber? Google has said it will pilot Google Fiber in a small to medium sized municipality with anywhere from 50,000 to 500,000 users. Though many cities have made promotional pushes to attract Google, our favorite would have to be Greenville, South Carolina. In just two short weeks, Greenville's city and county government officials, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and engaged citizens came together to create this impressive display.
