In order to continue to spread awareness for Haiti disaster relief efforts through 'We Are The World 25,' YouTuber Lisa Lavie organized a collaboration of 57 amazing singers from the YouTube music community to offer their cover version of the song. The result is a touching, powerful video that truly demonstrates the world coming together. It's stunning to consider that each singer's track was recorded in multiple places throughout the globe and brought together by the power of the internet (and tireless editing by Lavie and Iman Crosson).
Check out the video below, head over to the video's page to see a list of the participating singers (and subscribe to their channels), and of course, donate to the cause at the official 'We Are the World' Foundation.
Note: Yes, eagle-eyed readers, we already featured the video this morning, but as the day went on, we quickly realized that it is, in fact, the one thing that you need to share today.

Have you heard about the Spanish version, called Somos el mundo? It has brought together SO many Latin artists! I can't wait to hear it when it comes out on March 1.

I was amazed to be asked to be a part of this (imho) historical YouTube moment! I found out about Lisa Lavie about 2 years ago or so and she was kind enough to see some of my own videos and we struck up a friendship. Now, I get to collab with one of my favorite YouTube stars! I hope that everyone who hears the immensely talented singers on this get inspired and get involved in Haiti relief or any relief effort your heart is attached to.
Thanks for bringing awareness,
jonmcsingee (WATW YT Vid singer-chorus).

Thanks for commenting, Jonnathan! Totally agree about it being a historical moment -- very cool idea and executed perfectly. We were a big ball of goosebumps at Urlesque HQ! Glad we could help spread the word.
