CJ Wallis and Sylvia and Jen Soska know what's up with YouTube. They understand that, in just five short years, the video sharing site has not only changed the lives of many of its users, but it's likely changed the lives of everyone who has ever visited the site (so everyone you know and maybe your nana).
YouTube has single-handedly shifted the way we live, and redefined how we use the internet as both a means of communication and entertainment. (Plus, we'd probably be bored and/or out of a job if it weren't for savvy YouTubers like Diana Campanella who make our jobs super-easy!)
Together, Wallis and the Soska sisters pooled their intellectual resources and created a documentary about four YouTube superstars -- David Choi, TayZonday, HappySlip, and Daxflame -- called Please Subscribe. (The film is in final mixing stages and will hopefully be circulating at film festivals soon.)
You can read an interview with the filmmakers at This Blog Rules.

Interesting...
Before the documentary is even finished those particular youtubers have fallen to the wayside and others have risen to take their place.

Haha - dude! CJ is awesome. Got to know him a few years back because he'd worked and was friends with an actor (Joseph May) who I was creating a website about.
He's a genuinely great and imaginative writer and director. Definitely worth checking out his stuff.
