Dutch singer Pierre Kartner goes under the moniker of Vader Abraham. The dude has written 1600 songs [= WIN], and -- fun fact! -- once worked in a chocolate factory while living with his family in Amsterdam. His well-known alter ego (which translates to "Father Abraham"), initially sported a fake beard, before growing out some real whiskers and topping things off with a signature bowler hat.

According to The Uncool Hunter, Kartner was asked to make a promotional song for an animated movie in 1977, which turned out to be about the original Na'vi, The Smurfs. The ditty went number one hit in sixteen countries, and has since sold 25 million copies worldwide.

Score another point for tarnished childhood memories. Thanks, Smurfs and creepy rabbis and soft focus.
