Even though you can't quite own a groundhog of your own, that doesn't mean all members of the rodent family are off limits to snuggles. Many types of rodents actually make wonderful pets -- and they can usually fit right into the palm of your hand. Ferrets are NOT rodents, it is a member of the weasel family. They were actually used to kill rodents at one point. Please check your facts. Ferrets have a bad rap as it is and most are just sweet pets.
