cat business tripI'm a die-hard Hello Kitty fan, and since my youth I have been under the impression that most everything is better in Japan – it's all cute and cartoony with smiley faces. The following commercials just about have me packing my bags and jumping on a plane because any culture that makes commercials like this is a people after my own heart.

The following clip of a cat business trip has been making the viral rounds and I promptly fell in absolute love with it. Cat tie! He rings the bell! Does a Powerpoint presentation!


Upon further investigation (ok, in just reading this MetaFilter thread because I do not know Japanese *bowing down*), MetaFilter member vorfeed reveals that there are a series of these ads for a travel site in Japan called Jalan and that "their spokes-cat's name is Nyalan (にゃらん) -- 'nya' being the Japanese equivalent of 'meow'."
