pepperoni pizzaFood websites are hard to judge, since the products in question are so completely visceral in nature. Why talk about food, when you could be eating it? And unlike blogs pertaining to music, films, or art -- which all have benefited from examples that you can experience online -- we have yet to figure out the embedding code for "buffalo wings." That is the top priority of Web 3.0: a food blog you can actually taste.

Regardless, there are some great food sites out there, and today we honor those that dedicate their resources to the specific area of delicious, cheesy pizza.

Hot Girls Eat Pizza: Basically, hot girls are great and pizza is great, so the combination thereof is unstoppable. Unfortunately, this blog stopped updating almost a year ago. Did hot girls stop eating pizza? We may never know. The video above was the last post on the site, and it looks like something Liz Lemon from '30 Rock' might have starred in to put herself through college.

Slice: "America's Favorite Pizza Weblog!" the tag line of this SeriousEats site decrees, which made me wary of some ancient Angelfire or Geocities background. But the blog is up to date, with the most recent entry being Awl founder Choire Sicha's homemade recipe for a pie, which gives this 'weblog' the hipster seal of approval. Other good entries include a link to where to buy the Chef Boyardee Pizza Kit from our youths, and debate on the upcoming D.C. pizza truck.

Video Pizza: Not so much a website as a cultural phenomenon, the video pizza can be watched for hours at a time on repeat, as one pie turns to some crazy Super Nintendo beat. It's like Video Catnip for people!

Order Pizza App: A free iPhone application for particularly lazy people who can't be bothered to look up their favorite pizza place, this program allows you to just type in the kind of pizza you want, plus + toppings and extras (cheesy bread!), and then confirms your order with whichever pizzeria is closest/convenient. Because ordering pizza in wasn't making dinner easy enough!

Japanese pizza adAsian Pizza: We will never run out of ways to make fun of the continent of Asia and their wacky pizza ideas: from their use of unagi (eel) as a topping to Pizza Hut's new disgusting commercials that run in Japan, there is an equal amount of both humor and horror that arises when one thinks of those two words combined.
