dog senses earthquake before it occursWe've all heard that animals can sense natural disasters before they occur. In the wake of the Tsunami in 2004, there were many accounts of animals heading for the safety of hills well before the waves crashed on land. Well, this Labrador Retriever named Sophie didn't get that much of a head start, but it certainly looks like she knew a quake was coming. This clip comes courtesy of a security cam at the office of Eureka, California's Times-Standard, where a 6.5 earthquake took place this past weekend.
