What did Eirik Solheim do in 2009? The same thing he did in 2008, only better. He filmed it about once a week from the same spot in his Oslo backyard, and made a pretty amazing time-lapse video with the footage. This year the transitions are seamless, the quality is crystal clear, and the video isn't sped up in typical time-lapse form. It really is like watching a magical alternate version of Earth where an entire year passes 364 days, 23 hours, and 58 minutes faster than it does in real life.
