Nicolas Cage is one of the _______ actors of his generation (we'll let you fill that one in). He brings a certain je ne sais quoi -- scratch that -- a certain Nic Cage-iness to each role he inhabits. Whether he's playing a crazed policeman ('The Wicker Man') or a crazed policeman ('Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans'), there's always a small part of you that knows you're watching Nic Cage playing a crazed policeman. I don't mean this as an insult to his acting abilities, it's just that Nic Cage is Nic Cage in a way that no one else is. Even when he plays someone else, he is always still Nic Cage.
