Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks like a fish, and it also looks like it's on land. Everything I know about fish tells me that this can't be true. Then again, the only thing I know about fish is that they're usually more expensive than chicken. Is this mud loving fish for real or is it just a lizard in a fish costume?

That's a real Fish. It usually called a Mud Skipper. When out of water and in mud, they get oxygen thru their skin from the "watery mud".

This is a fish, and its a gobi. It lives in brakish tidal zones. Fish can and do live out of water for extended times, but need to be near water to wet their skins, which they breath thru. Some fish have lungs and gills, and also can breath thru their skins. I have seen some catfish propel themselves out of their canals or ponds to walk across a road to the next body of water. Yes its real.....

This is a gobi mud skipper. It real, and breathes thru its skin I think as well as gills. Some fish have lungs also. I have seen catfish during rains jump out of their ponds and walk across a road.

Give Jordan two thumbs down for not being smart enough to check this out before posting his stupidity on AOL for all the world to see. If you had used the keywords - amphibious fish you would have been able to find a picture of this fish known as a mudskipper. I suggest that you watch more National Geographic or Animal Planet shows or better yet read some National Wildlife magazines.

Jordan... you're kind of a dumb-bunny aren't you? It's a mudskipper. Did you also know that where they live, trees grow in sand and salt-water. Those are called mangroves.
Didn't your parents ever give you an kiddie encyclopedia? Sheesh.
