space launch seen from a planeIt's hard to beat a visit from a duck on the wing of a plane, but this video of a space shuttle launch caught from the window of a commercial jet comes pretty close. It sure beats flying through a cloud. Based on when this video was uploaded, our guess is that it was the Discovery STS-120.

Naturally, this is not the first space launch filmed from the sky.
