These days, the minute a clip hits YouTube it's subject to the mash-up-ing masses. The pioneers of the video mash-up are too numerous to count, but one of the forefathers of the genre has to be Fensler Films' G.I. Joe PSA dubs, videos better known by one of the amazingly random dubbed lines: "porkchop sandwiches." Most of it is pure gibberish, but the genius lies in the mixture of the vintage PSA clips with modern absurdist humor, also "poking fun at the low quality of animation common in cartoons of the era by pointing out poor inbetweening and lip syncing." After receiving a cease-and-desist letter from Hasbro, Fensler had to take the clips off their account, but in true YouTube fashion all of them still live on the site and have been watched millions of times.
