At the Noah's Ark Animal Rescue Center in Locust Grove, Georgia, three alpha predators have become unlikely housemates after being rescued from drug barons who kept them as status symbols. Baloo the bear, Leo the lion and Shere Khan the tiger were just two months old when they were rescued in a police raid in Atlanta.
Having bonded as cubs, the staff at Noah's Ark chose to keep the animals together. After living with the zoo's founder for eight years, the boys have finally moved into their own pad, a custom-built $24,000 habitat where visitors can get a great look at their remarkable and unique friendship.
