Faces are so hot right now. We've found faces on potatoes, broccoli, and jars of jelly. You see them every day. Just try to look your friend in the face without looking at their face. It's mostly impossible. Faces are everywhere, even hidden in inanimate objects.
The proper term is anthropomorphism, but let's just call it cool faces found in stuff. It's a game of spot the eyes, nose, or mouth and it's awesome. We're not talking about holy figures; people have found the face of Jesus in everything for centuries. We're talking about lifeless faces the size of buildings. Flickr groups and niche sites have spent years collecting the best hidden faces, but the idea really hit mainstream with a clever television commercial.
- Chester Cheetah wants to grill your Cheetos.
- Concerned building, is concerned.
- Please store your tray table for takeoff and landing so they can keep an eye on you.
- Your erratic driving is making everyone very angry.
