The internet loves papercraft (see, for example, the large collection on Boing Boing), and papercraft loves the internet. Below are a baker's dozen of the best meme-based papercraft. (History tip: The "baker's dozen" was invented when the FCC ruled that any blogger who shortchanges a reader with fewer list items than promised gets their hands cut off.)

1. Flying Spaghetti Monster

There's something magical about papercraft that moves. And there's everything magical about the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the internet's favorite religious figure since "Bob." It seems no sect of Pastafarianism has a law against depicting its god, and in fact the most popular form of worship is in creating new, weird ways to draw, sculpt, or paint Him. Or cut, fold, and crank Him to wave His noodly appendages.

2. Ceiling Cat

Oh god, if you make this cat and tape it to your ceiling, please don't tell us what it's watching you do.

3. Hipster Grifter

Aww, this fat weird-looking statue of the infamous Hipster Grifter almost seems cruel, except for all the fraud and extortion she did to deserve it.

4. Keyboard Cat

Another moving papercraft, this Keyboard Cat (a 2009 Urlies award winner) will play you off when you turn the handle.

5. Hamster on a Piano

Give this little guy some popcorn and plop him on the family Steinway to recreate Hamster on a Piano. It's animals on keyboards all over the place!

6. NNN Fredbot

The Next New Networks Fredbot turns the co-founder of the online video startup, Fred Seibert, into a robot colored classic "Kill All Humans" Red.

7. Dog on a Skateboard

Stick this bulldog on an origami skateboard for Steve Jobs' alleged favorite YouTube video.

8. Otters Holding Hands

Remember to make two, and remember to scooch 'em up close. Awwwww! No wonder they're #48 on our all-time video list.

9. Nosferatu Gaga

When is the most demonic of all vampires a meme? When he dances to a pop music video.

10. Sneezing Panda

To depict the two characters in Sneezing Panda, you'll need to make a big version of the panda shown above, then a small version of this perkier panda.

11. Monorail Cat

My personal favorite LOLcat can now rest on any track you give it.

12. Thu Tran

Thu Tran turned 'Food Party,' a wacky web show about food, into an IFC TV series. To keep things weird, the network turned her and some of her characters into papercraft.

13. Fake Steve Jobs

Okay, it could be real Steve Jobs, but by now we're all more familiar with Fake Steve.
