Sarah Palin... perhaps not the brightest bulb in the bunch, am I right? I'm not saying that she's right or wrong about issue A or issue B, I'm just saying she's perhaps not the sharpest sandwich in the deck. Basically, even my five-year-old niece knows that Palin is captain of the stupid faces.
Look, maybe you are a liberal. Or, maybe you are a conservative. Fine! Super good! Both of these are acceptable things to be! People will always have disagreements. But, one thing that everyone can agree on is that Sarah Palin web parodies are pretty funny. Enjoy!
To start, the guys over at Headzup managed to hilariously capture the full spirit of the Oprah vs. Palin smack-down:
Then, the editors of The Nation compiled a series of anti-Palin essays and released them as a book, cheekily titled: 'Going Rouge: An American Nightmare'. One chapter of the booked, titled 'The Poetry of Sarah Palin,' rearranges Palin's insane ramblings into haiku form:
You Can't Blink
You can't blink.
You have to be wired
In a way of being
So committed to the mission,
The mission that we're on,
Reform of this country,
And victory in the war,
You can't blink.
So I didn't blink.
To Charles Gibson, ABC News, September 11, 2008 (via MSNBC)
Funny. So so funny and sad. Finally, Keith Olbermann smugly tore the Palin/Oprah interview into tiny, horrifying pieces:
"God and Todd." Blech. Wow. Yeah, A+ in rhyming.
