On Facebook, MySpace, and even Twitter, your profile photo isn't just a picture. In fact, it's a singular image that speaks volumes, providing an immediate reaction upon first glance that undoubtedly shapes what the viewer thinks about you, like it or not. It's a lot of pressure, capturing that "perfect" image, which is why some people avoid the situation altogether, instead posting a faraway shot, LOLcat, or image of Maya Angelou's face turned upside down (*guilty*).
