Anne Koch is an artist and designer who has dreamed up a little video project of which we are big fans. What Koch does is travel to different destinations, turn the camera on herself, and just eat, silently, for a couple of minutes.

Koch tells The Katie Girls:

"My decision to conduct an action, eating, was first subconsciously to parody the tourists that gawk and look, kind of like at a zoo, like when they stand and watch, at everything and nothing...but also to be doing something mundane and everyday"

Next time we find ourselves at a street fair, naively standing and shoving corn dogs into our mouthholes like Cookie Monster (but for grilled muffin-covered animals genitals), we'll think of Koch. And we'll feel a little better about ourselves, knowing we're making art.
