That being said, there are puh-lenty denizens from way "over the hill" who have wheeled and walk[er]ed their way into this crazy town we call the Internet. Here are some of our favorite senior citizens on the web:
- If the methods by which the elderly used the internet (read: PATRIOTIC FWD'S) were turned into a video, you'd have Old People News:
- Joe Biden isn't the only AARP member to get Auto Tuned. Eldertune focuses on the community T-Pain wouldn't touch with a ten-foot top hat.
- Funny video in which your nana thinks e-mail is made of light (that is true, though, right?):
- Senior citizens would never chew a Stereogum, but if someone's willing to film them checking out the newest Animal Collective cut, they'll surely take a listen (specifically from the back of a Philadelphia diner):
- YouTube: what is it good for? Absolutely everything, including candid videos of old people in physical altercations.
- Grampires: old people with fangs. What'd you say, Twilight? We can't hear you. We're too into this.

I understand that you have the best intentions. However, I want you to rethink your future usage of the term 'elderly' which I believe you use as a term of endearment. As we progress as a society we are forced to explore and expose the possible prejudices that we retain and pass along without giving much thought. Elders are respected. 'Elderly' is simply an adjetive that says 'elder-like'. What is the adjective staing. Someone is hard of hearing? Unable to climb stairs? Resistant to change? Forgetful? Would we refer to groups of people black-like? Asianly? Polishly? Let's keep the word Elder. Let's lose the term Elderly.
