When Apple Sauce was rejected by her mother (someone call piglet child services ASAP), her desperate owner Heidi Rhiann decided to put the adorable (but terribly gaunt) runt in with her Rottweiler Sasha and Sasha's new litter of puppies.
"It was the last chance for the piglet. I wrapped Apple Sauce in a blanket the puppies had been on to try and transfer the scent and left her next to Sasha," said Ms Rhiann. "About an hour later I went to see how they were getting along and Apple Sauce was suckling."As you can tell from these pictures, Apple Sauce, Sasha, and the whole rest of the gang are getting along like gangbusters. Now that she's one of the dogs, Apple Sauce is even being saved from the chop! Live long and prosper little piglet.
