Late last week, a drunk man walked into a convenience store and tried to buy some more beer. It didn't go so well...or did it? Because now the internet has bequeathed us many, many remixes of the footage, and they're pretty entertaining. Before we get started here, I'll just break the news up-front that I couldn't find a version mixed with Yakety Sax. I'm as disappointed as you are. Get on that, Internet.
First up, check out the original video and then all the wonderful Drunkest Guy Ever remixes below.
- Mixed with Daft Punk's 'Around the World'
- The Silent Film Version (Mustache and Monacle via Buzzfeed)
- For the ladies -- mixed with 'He Ain't With Me Now Though'
- 'Ol' English' by The Game
- This one weaves between Swizz Beatz' 'It's Me B*tches,' 'Too Hot To Stop Pt. 1' by the Bar-Kays, and a Redbirds' cover of Willie Nelson's 'I Gotta Get Drunk'
- 'Drinking Alone' by Hanibal. Remix via Sunspeik
- 'Should Have Taken Acid With You' by Neon Indian
- "2001 -- A Beer Odyssey"
- UPDATE: We have found our Yakety Sax Version, and it is glorious. Thanks to Digg commenter NickSalvo and Comedy Funhouse

Why does these fake "real" clips get so much hype. Not sure who original made this viral vid, but it is fake as hell. What's the deal people?

FYI, that dude is in a K-Hole if I've ever seen one. Definitely not drunk.

no way that guy is just drunk. like bobby said has to be on some G or maybe some shrooms. he has lost all inhibitions here....hardly any functioning....because the title of the video reads "drunk guy" i wrote it off as fake, but the more i watch it he is in another world. good times.

I don't know what's more dangerous in modern life: The huge influx of viral videos that are fake that are believed to be real or the fact that everyone believes that all viral videos are faked.
It's like some kind of cyclical boy who cried wolf. One of these days there will be an awesome, unbelievable video of crazy shit and everyone will pan it as being 'faked.' Like some serious alien evidence or something. And some smartass will be posting comments about how he can't believe anyone would think this were real.
Ahhh..American pop culture. It's like watching two fat retarded kids try to play ping pong.

I say, if this is fake then its comedic genius. I think its real. I doubt he's just drunk though.
I love the end. "Please! Take the bowl!"

i think some of the posts saying the viral is fake are FAKE!

the haterazzi video seems to be the only actual "remix", everything else is just the same original, unmodified video with some crappy song added... the sped up yakety sax is expected, but the rest? just people trying to use a popular video to proliferate their music/subscribers

I've known people to try to "act like this", and others who actually have ended up like this after a bunch of "recreational activities"... From my experience, this is as real as it gets, and I'm not entirely sure what he's on, but I feel sorry for this guy, because of the way he's going to feel the next day.
Brings back the old saying: "You can't fall off the floor..."
