For many kids, it's the fresh opportunity to make friends, achieve high marks, and pave a path toward a successful future as one of the nation's best and brightest.

For others, though, the new school year is all about one thing:

FOOD FIGHTS!

Since food fights began, delinquents have been roping in the good kids (*ahem*) to engage in the messy, filthy practice that brings a grimace to the face of teachers and janitors everywhere. Perhaps unluckily for some of those kids, plenty of the infamously disruptive battles have been captured on YouTube:
