Grossed out by the thought of having a pet squirrel? Not after you meet Mearl. The tiny tree climber fell in love with his BFF Andy (also a tree climber) when the Oregon native cut down a dead tree and found baby Mearl inside, abandoned by his mother. Andy brought Mearl back to his house, set him up with a shoebox bed and fed him goats milk -- creating the most heartwarming man-squirrel friendship there ever was (and possibly, the treatment for the next Disney flick.)
