If asked to describe The Mighty Boosh, a television series airing on the BBC, one might encounter trouble. The series, at its most basic, is a mix of comedy and music that borrows as much from the absurdist pantheon of Monty Python as it does from the sci-fi bizarro worlds of vintage comic books.
The show follows Vince Noir, "King of the Mods" and Howard Moon, an intellectually vain genius/novelist/poet/wrestler/boxer/jazz musician as -- when not acting as zookeepers -- they work in the dysfunctional Zooniverse, traveling through space and time under the slightly crazed Bob Fossil.
Got it? Yeah, it might take some time, but Urlesque's ladycrush Xeni Jardin of Boing Boing Video met up with the duo, made of comedians Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding.

Just an FYI: BoingBoing has a very heavy-handed censorship policy of deleting comments which disagree with their viewpoint. I've made it a policy to never link to BoingBoing because of this kind of anti-social, anti-free speech behavior. I recommend everyone does the same.

At BB, we have strict moderation policies, but there's near-relentless disagreement in the comments -- and it is welcome. J is just bitter and should treat himself to a nice ice cream, or, perhaps, some cake.
