Stuff [Betty] White People Like

After the initial announcement by our brethren at Asylum, dude sites have declared today, August 4th, 2009, A Day Without Megan Fox. The long-legged, rumored-bisexual, geek-friendly beauty is a fixture in the boob-o-sphere, fueling post after post after post detailing all the Fox that's fit to blog. (And after Fox compared herself to a transvestite resembling Alan Alda, we can't say we disagree.)

In fact, Asylum decided to take things one step further beyond merely fanning the Anti-Megan Fox flames. The boys figured today was as best as any to spew their gushing, weak-kneed love for a different natural brunette whose "golden" good looks have earned her accolades since before blogging was a thing. Megan Fox has met her match in legendary (and beautiful) actress, Betty White.

So over at Asylum, it's Betty White Day.

But guess what you guys? At Urlesque, every day is Betty White Day.

Where have these dudes been?! Have they ever seen an episode of The Golden Girls? Have they a clue about the rumored bad blood between Betty and Bea Arthur (hot!!!)? With all due respect, could Megan Fox deliver seven years' worth of St. Olaf jokes, each one garnering more laughs than the last? DOUBT. IT.

While the legions of Betty White fans might applaud replacing that Transformers star or whatever with our luminary of choice, we are by no means pleased that it's taken this long to give her the online credence she so rightfully deserves. Megan Fox can take her weird thumbs and stupid tattoos wherever she wants. We, however, are proud to share some of Betty's best moments on the web, stuff that proves that the gal has had it going on since 1922.
