In the Northern Hemisphere, July is usually the hottest month of the year. This is bad news for you, and it's even worse for your ice cream cone. You have options -- there are things you can do -- but there's not enough SPF and Gatorade in this world to save your sherbet from a bad case of the melts on a hot summer day. It's puddley fate is sealed the moment it leaves the freezer. Lick it and weep.
