The sad announcement of Michael Jackson's death had websites rushing to provide what news they could, as fast as possible. In fact, rumors of his death almost brought the internet to a halt. While Urlesque is, honestly, a site about funny videos and weird web oddities, we've all been, at one point or another, Jackson fans.
The mass media will be besieged with countless hours of coverage about Michael's career and circumstances behind his death. So we hope you find some solace in the fascinating documentary, We Are the Children, available to watch free on SnagFilms.com.
The documentary looks at a group of crazed Michael Jackson fans during his 2004-05 trial, and attempts to shed light on The King of Pop's most fervent supporters, casting a "nonjudgmental, unflinching eye [on] fan club gatherings, music collections and impersonators, as fans tell personal tales of inspiration."
At a moment of such sadness, it's worth a peek into the psyche behind those who have stood behind The King of Pop through his all his highs and lows.

It's a shame that creepy Michael Jackson had to die today after years of self-abuse, when talented, generous, compassionate Farrah Fawcett fought cancer for the past three years trying to save her life.
The American media is disgraceful.

Now isn't the time to put people down so I won't say anything about Farrah, but "that's ignorant" Nrthdude. Michael Jackson did a lot for several causes all over the world. He was talented, generous and compassionate and fought many things for decades. Both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson had great lives that had great impacts on generations, but Farrah Fawcett was an American icon while Michael Jackson was an international sensation, superstar and icon. Ms. Fawcett was a pin-up model with great hair and the Charlie Angel to disrupt the show to most, while Mr. Jackson changed music and entertainment. There are reasons one is getting more coverage.

Please: Michael Jackson had more talent in his big toe, and has done so much more than Farrah could ever think about! Farrah was a ditzzy blond sorry to say that's all she will be remembered for "Charley's Angels" please, never watched the program nor movies she may have made. I did see her on Letterman but she was so messed on what ever and this was before her cancer I turned the channel.
Michael on the other hand changed everything, and the lives of so many, Videos, Music, and color, I never believed the rumers! I'm a 53 year old white woman and grew up with Michael, always thought he was amazing but very unlucky in his later years on his life choices.

Everyone mourns a loss of a loved one, but when your famous everyone knows you and MJ was an icon when I was growing up and I still love his songs. So, as a fan, i can only say he will never be forgotten. His personal life should be for his family to deal with.

Michael, I can't believe you're gone...this feeling is so surreal and empty. I admired you and believed you touched so many lives, whatever personal issues you had, hey, so what, we all have issues and flaws. I am just praying for your family and close friends, God will only be able to comfort us all because we are all mourning right now, the world is forever changed because you are gone, Rest forever in the peace of GOD! I love you Michael Jackson!!!!!!

Michael Jackson was one "Phenomenal" man EVER. There is so much to say that I will only say this...Thank you GOD for the time you allowed him to be in our presence. Please pray for Strength needed for the family and all of his fans. There is none like you Michael...none! You will be imitated, but never duplicated. RIP

First of all, my deepest sympathy to the friends and family of Michael Jackson. The world has lost THE ONLY true icon that has walked this earth. Yes I said it,as there are MANY that are considered icons, but a TRUE icon is one that has done ALL that Michael Jackson has done. Media bashes and brings about the negative bs, but I ask, can't he FINALLY just be at peace now that GOD has brought him home?!?!??!??!Who cares what/who he owes. He is and always be a legend...GOD bless to all.....Saint in Georgia

Sitruc, well said and eloquently defined, MJ was iconic, while Farrah Fawcett was more of a local phenomena stateside. Their contributions could never be compared, because one far eclipsed the other in regards to stardom. The truth, it is a tragic loss in either case, because they were beloved for their own reasons. One death, should not negate nor demean the other.

I felt such a loss when I heard the news. Growing up with Michael and seeing him transform into such talent regardless of his personal life. We all has ghosts in the closet and there is only one judge we have to account to. He was the greatest song writers and performers as of today. He was able to touch souls with his music. There wasn't a time I can remember not being able to sit still while listening to his music. He was the master and he's in heaven showing his new move to all the loved ones we know. Rest in peace Michael and my prayers go to his family that they always lean on each other during this heartfelt time. A fan for life. RIP

Michael has touched many lives not just because of his great music but also because of his kind heart when i heard that michael has passed away i couldn't believe it i was shocked and saddened. i rememeber when i'm still a little girl i was really fascinated by Michael Jackson the moves, the style, his voice i love everything about him. although i don't personally know michael i know that he's heart is genuine.
