It's well-known around these parts that I am the founder of popular Tumblelog, We Have Lasers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, which has an always-changing amount of exclamation points after its name AND features the best in user-submitted laser portraits. Not familiar with the laser portrait? It might not be your fault -- the laser portrait can be a rare commodity in parts of the world, although when you had one, you know it.

Offered to elementary school children as a background option for their school portrait, the laser background always cost a few bucks more and usually caused quite a fuss between moms and kids before Picture Day. With the help of nostalgic kids like myself, I've built this amazing collection all from submissions made by the laser-lovers themselves.
