This was a magical week for the internet, courtesy of musical-parody-king, Weird Al Yankovic. His latest opus -- a Doors-themed ode to the wonders of Craigslist -- made its worldwide debut, and it was glorious!
Everything from buying cars to missed connections -- Weird Al nailed it. He even spoke to our buddies at Spinner about his inspiration for the song:
"I thought it would be anachronistically weird to have me as Jim Morrison screaming about Craigslist. That just seemed so completely wrong that I thought I had to do it."Weird Al's illustrious career has always banked on making fun of the latest pop culture trends. So in true form, many tracks focus on our favorite pop culture dumping ground: the interwebz.
