During the hot days of mid-summer, when you're landlocked and desperate to jump into any body of water, everyone racks their brains for a solution (or someone who has a pool). Aside from trespassing, and your local scummy lake, usually someone comes up with the brilliant idea of joining together to buy a kiddie pool. And while this might sound tempting as the images on the box always look so alluring -- entire families comfortably lounging in cool water -- it never does turn out like that, does it?

What ends up happening is you flood the backyard, everyone gets bored & only one of you ends up in the pool (which is too cold and under-inflated) for about five seconds. Hopefully, though, you filmed it.

Here's a dedication to all of us who have deflated pools in our basements and I really do hope that this will inspire you to inflate & upload: videos of adults in kiddie pools.

• Members from a band called All Time Low get in a kiddie pool. There's a joke in here about their band name and making videos about swimming in a kiddie pool on YouTube, but I just can't quite get it out.
  

• Somewhere a baby is crying. Some kid took his kiddie pool and decided to splash around in it.
  

• Can't a grown man just relax in his kiddie pool IN PEACE?!
  

• When you overestimate the size of the pool...and underestimate the size of your own body.
