In the world of model trains there are many good hobbyists who strive to create an effective rail system which the micro-inhabitants of the New Basement City can rely on to get them to and from their destinations safely, on-time, and with little fanfare. There are also those who would love nothing more than to see a freighter derail on a sharp curve -- invisible cargo spilling all over the painted Styrofoam hillside -- or a truck helplessly stuck on the tracks as the locomotive barrels towards it full speed ahead.
