The Food Network has become synonymous with cooking shows like Emeril and high-end competitions like Iron Chef.
But while we love seeing celeb chefs in action, chances are we'll never be able to summon the seasoning skills of Bobby Flay and our home-cooked version of Emeril's risotto would probably make its creator weep.
So what if you're a 20-something -- recently introduced to the non-dorm-room kitchen -- who thinks of Google as a cookbook and whose shopping lists are in an iPhone rather than a Post-it? Food Network has not forgotten you!
Their new site Food2 is geared toward the young and tech-savvy amateur cook. Launched in April of this year, it features recipes, quirky web series and a food blog that trades restaurant news for how-to hangover cures.
The site is still expanding -- introducing a "challenges" section and interactive features -- so get a glimpse before it blows up! Because I'm pretty sure Food2 is about to break a new discovery: food tastes better when you've got a sense of humor.
