Scissor Gang Mafia, as defined by Urban Dictionary:
Trendy MTV-aspiring suburban douchebags who pose for pictures to be displayed on the internet by creating "scissors" with their fingers.
Examples include fraternity or sorority members, drinkers of cheap beer, and "anyone from the Real World/Road Rules Challenge."
The Dirty chronicles people around the country with proclivity to loud dance clubs, excessive drinking, tawdry clothing, bronzer in bulk, and hair gel (read: douchebags). In doing so, they've devoted an entire page to posting pictures of dudes and ladies flashing the sideways peace sign, which can also be read as a possible attempt at irony, as its being a silly adoption of a gang sign.
As if it weren't already easy enough to hate these people -- who, for one reason or another, already consider themselves intrinsically famous (because...why?) -- it's that scissor sign (and somehow not the pursed lips or look of empty achievement) that really seals the deal.
