I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere in the land of the World Wide Web. Remember back in February when we featured the amazing over-sized novelty site, Great Big Stuff, in our Catablogging series? If you recall, I wishfully put out the call to GBS that if they ever saw our post, to please send along a little something (actually, a BIG something) from their collection.

Also, if you're out there, GreatBigStuff.com, we could really use a giant pencil here at Urlesque. Call us!
We didn't hear back from months and months, until recently, a magical tweet from @GreatBigStuff appeared in our Twitter replies. Sure enough, a few days later, a BIG BOX appeared at Urlesque HQ...

  • Did you guess a GIANT pencil? While it's exactly what I originally requested, we were super-shocked at the pencil's great big size, and it's attention to detail!


  • OK, so it's doesn't really write, but we now have it proudly displayed above our cubes and whenever we have some serious blogging to do, we grab the big pencil instead and run around the office. Productivity!
