Last night, personalities from far and wide across the internet took to downtown NYC for Urlesque and Know Your Meme's pre-Internet Week costume party, A Night to ReMEMEber. Everyone really took their costumes to the next level and we had an eclectic variety of memes and viral video stars show up including Tron Guy, Daft Bodies, Grape Stomper Lady, Laser Portraits, and yes, even a couple of Keyboard Cats.
We were striving to set a world record for "Most Meme Costumes at a Party," and we recorded a whopping total of 52 costumes present last night. Our record has been submitted to the URDB and is under review! Update! Our record has been officially approved and set. Check out the details on URDB.
The party was a blast -- thanks to everyone for showing up in such amazing costumes (on a Sunday night, no less). Flip through the photos that we snapped -- in addition to links to others -- below, along with an awesome recap video from our BFF, Brad O'Farrell, who even learned how to play Fatso's favorite song to go along with his epic Keyboard Cat costume.
