Before Urlesque, I could sit and watch online video for hours -- paying no mind to length or even content! Just send me a link and I was there. Ever since the internet has basically taken over my life (in a good way, I swear!) my patience for video-watching has basically ceased to exist. Just give me the timestamp and tell me what's going to happen. Is it funny? When does it get funny? When it hits 30 seconds, I'm basically done.

It's sad, but true. That's why, when I heard about 5 Second Films, I realized this is exactly the type of web video I need in my life: ones that are over before you even knew they started (and they're funny). Even their blog is quick and painless! And while I probably need to work on my own ability to prolong my attention span, you certainly don't. Why waste the time when you'll get the quick laugh you need -- in only 5 seconds!
